Year 6 Science Trip to Montgomery Academy
Year 6 Science Trip to Montgomery High School: Heart Dissection Adventure!
On an exciting and educational morning, our Year 6 students took a trip to Montgomery High School to explore the fascinating world of science through a hands-on heart dissection activity! As part of their current topic, Animals Including Humans, where they’ve been learning about the human circulatory system, our students had the unique opportunity to step into the shoes of high school scientists and dive deeper into their studies.
Guided by the expert science teachers at Montgomery, the children carefully examined and identified the key components of the heart, bringing their classroom learning to life in a way that was both engaging and memorable. They explored the structures that make up the human circulatory system, developing a greater understanding of how our bodies work.
It was an inspiring morning for everyone, and the students were a real credit to our school, showing curiosity, focus, and respect throughout the experience. This trip not only enhanced their scientific knowledge but also gave them a glimpse of the exciting science lessons awaiting them in high school!
