Ethos and Values
Our mission is to foster a lifelong love of learning in a nurturing and joyful environment where every child feels valued and inspired. Through engaging experiences, we aim to create lasting happy memories; while equipping our students with the confidence, knowledge and skills they need for the next stages of their education and for life beyond the classroom.
We live by our motto: Whatever we do, we do it well!
Our core values have been shaped by the voices of our own students. They carefully considered what matters most to them and why these values are essential in making our school a special place to learn and grow.
British Values at Norbreck Primary Academy
At Norbreck Primary Academy, we are committed to supporting the academic growth of our pupils while also fostering their wider development—spiritually, morally, socially, and culturally. Our aim is to equip them with the skills and understanding needed to thrive in British society and take on the role of responsible, active citizens. The promotion of British Values is at the heart of our educational approach.
We integrate these values throughout our curriculum, ensuring they are reflected in the everyday life of the school. These core principles are embedded not only in our teaching but also in our school assemblies and dedicated curriculum sessions, helping to shape a well-rounded educational experience for all our students.
The British Values we uphold and teach are:
- Democracy
- Rule of Law
- Individual Liberty
- Mutual Respect and Tolerance of Those of Different Faiths and Beliefs
These values are integral to our vision and guide the culture of respect, inclusivity, and responsibility that we strive to nurture at Norbreck Primary Academy.
