Huge congratulations to the boys' football team for their incredible achievement in reaching Wembley! After a thrilling journey, they secured their place in the Kids Cup final with a fantastic victory over Wigan in the regional finals! Their hard work, teamwork, and dedication have truly paid off, and they should be immensely proud of this well-deserved success. Playing at Wembley is a dream come true for any young footballer, and we can’t wait to cheer them on as they take on their next challenge!

Twelve children from KS2 attended Blackpool Sports Centre to take part in a 'New Age Kurling' competition. The children represented Norbreck wonderfully and should be extremely proud of themselves. We had two teams in the competition, with one finishing in second place and the other in fourth place – what a fantastic achievement! The children's communication and teamwork were amazing to watch.

DRUMBA!
We had the most exciting trip to Blackpool Sports Centre, where a group of 9 energetic children joined two other schools for an unforgettable Drumba session!
Each child had their own drum and followed the dynamic leader at the front, drumming along to lively music packed with movement and high-energy fun.
The atmosphere was electric, with all the children fully immersed in the experience, leaving with big smiles and lasting memories! 🥁🎶 🌟⚡🌟🥁🎶
We are very proud of our KS1 athletes who were invited to an Athletics Skills Day at Blackpool Sports Centre. They took part in a variety of track and field events, demonstrating excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day. Well done team Norbreck! 🏆
Ten Year 5/6 athletes competed in the Blackpool Athletics Plate Finals, where the competition was intense. Despite the tough challenge, our team demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, determination, and resilience, securing 4th place.

Our Year 5 and 6 netballers had an amazing experience at Blackpool Netball Club's Skills Festival! They started the afternoon by honing their passing, movement, defending, and shooting skills. The session wrapped up with exciting full-court games against other local schools—where they won every match!

Ten of our amazing Year 3 and Year 4 children competed in the Blackpool Schools Athletics Final at Stanley Park! The competition was incredibly fierce, with some impressive athletes on show.
Norbreck displayed fantastic spirit and a positive attitude in every event. They even achieved a few 1st place finishes! In the overall standings, Norbreck secured a credible 4th place out of all the schools in the area!

Boccia Competition
Our Key Stage 2 children had a fantastic time competing in the Boccia competition at Blackpool Sports Centre! They showed great skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the event, making us incredibly proud.

Our Year 2 children have been introduced to the exciting world of netball at Blackpool Netball Club's Skills Festival! 🏐✨ Throughout the morning, they learnt new skills, including passing, moving, marking, and shooting. The boys made a solid start, winning all of their group games without conceding a single goal!
Their incredible teamwork left them top of the group! In a nail-biting final, they held their nerve and clinched victory 3-2 on penalties!
